Question about Sims

Sorry to bump up, but I have a question about The Sims 2. I have no expansion packs and would like to get one. What are the best ones? Can I install them without using the original disc? (I seem to have misplaced mine)

personally, I like BV the best. I'm pretty sure you can install it without the original disk, and once you install you can use that disk (wow big run-on sentence )

Yea its totally fine without the original disk!
