I know there is a package. I think it's $89 for 10 pictures? Are there other packages?

Also I read somewhere that the packages didn't include the pictures with the captain or characters. Is that true? If so, what kind of pictures are included? Just random candid shots like at dinner??? :confused3

Thanks!

We bought the package we paid $89. for 10 of the 6x8's other wise they were $9.95ea I believe.
We also bought 8X10's they were 19.95 each since we bought 4 of those we got this REALLY cool binder frame with an actually picture of the ship in it.

Edited to say that I loved one shot so much of our boys we had them make it our Christmas card right on the ship. Same $ as I would of paid to have them done at home and no sales tax!!:cool1: They turned out perfect!!

The packages do include the character photos (or at least it did on all of our last cruises including the 9/04 one), otherwise, it would not have been a good value for us. I am not sure about the captain photo since I've never had one made.

It does not include the posed formal shots that are taken at stations around the ship--these are the larger 8X10 poses.

We just returned May 14th and purchased the Silver Package which consists of any 10, 6" x 8" photos for $84.95. Yes, it does include character photos and yes, it does include the photo with the captain (actual photo is smaller because it also includes the captain's name and date and a smaller photo of the ship, along with facts about the ship, all within the 6" x 8" size). The really neat thing about buying the package early on is that you pick up the photos you THINK you want and they mark them off on a card. Later on, you go back and pick up more photos and you can exchange them for the first ones if they are better. Another tip: When you go into Shutters and find your photos, put them in a pile, one on top of the other so they are easy to find when you go back. They first few days, it's pretty easy to find your photos but as the week goes on, there are so many photos displayed, it gets overwhelming. Of course, you can always buy a larger package, too. The formal shots are 8" x 10" and they cost $19.95 each. They won't do them smaller. That's where they get you. :goodvibes Who doesn't want the formal shots? :confused3 They do run a deal for them, too. Something like if you buy four you get a free 8" x 10" shot of the ship. I'm not exactly sure of that deal.

The packages are something like $85 for 10, $115 for 15 and $150 for 20 (these are from memory so they may be a little off). We started with the 15 package and later upgraded to the 20. All we had to do was take the card they give you and the original receipt back and then you pay the difference. They also said if we paid for 15 and only chose 10 they would adjust the cost for us. We actually chose 18 pictures of us and our child and then they gave us choice of some stock photos of characters and ship - we actually ended up with 22 pictures. Yes, the one with the captain is included. I think the package includes any 6"x8" pictures. Most of ours are pictures of our daughter with characters. Also a pic of our daughter on Pirate night, pic of all three of us with Captain, and some stock pictures. We did not stack our pictures. When we found one we wanted, we took it and they marked the card, put the pic in a folder and bagged them. We later bought a album for 6X8 photos in the gift shop. If we later wanted to exchange a picture we previously picked with a better one, that was no problem. Just return with the card and the pic and they exchanged with no problems. I don't recommend stacking. I know someone on here somewhere said they went back to get them and they were gone. Now you have my two cents worth.

We stacked ours because we thought it would be easier to keep them together. As far as them being gone...what happens sometimes is when they get more and more shots, they move them. But they moved our entire stack so it wasn't a problem. Your best bet is to take the ones you want when you find them.

Exactly..I saw some very heartbroken people that last night, when they could not find their pics at all..

I really appreciate all the info on the photo packages! It seems the closer we get to sailing, the more things I start to wonder about!
Thanks again! :wave2:
