Question About Shoes (Business Casual Days)

Im sure there are some, not that I really look lol or that I would know 2 inchs as I don't carry around measuring tape lol. I guess we can rock our CUTE heels on our days off lol

Why you may love heels and can wear them all day in like an office. Just remember that if you are going to be working in the parks one of the days you have training is a park discovery day. Which means you will be walking all over the park and even riding a few rides. Once your out there in a skirt with nylons and heat/humidty your are not going to be loving wearing those heels then. Also think about the different surface that you will be walking around specially if you are located at DAK not so heel friendly with the uneven surface. Just some warning/advice

They permit you to wear regular tennis shoes on your Park Discovery day. They just can't be hideously dirty or neon pink. Which is a shame.

On Park Discovery day, can you wear casual clothing with your tennis shoes? Or do you have to wear business casual with your tennis shoes!!!

this has been so helpful (I love heels, but i cant wear them due to really bad knees :headache:). How about bussiness clothing though? Im a horrible when it comes to clothing (not much of a girl am i? :rotfl: I have my T-shirts and im happy) Does anyone have pictures to share when it comes to the proper clothing for traditions and classes? :confused3

I was wondering about the phrase "in good taste". I have a pair of very comfortable ballet flats that I wear to work all of the time (I have to dress "business casual", but Disney's idea of "business casual" seems to be much more strict.). They are cute, clean, stylish...and a very pretty grass green color. Would these be a problem with a simple black dress? (and hose, of course!) I think these would be my most comfortable option for Park Discovery Day.

I also wondered what they considered "big prints" on clothing. Does this basically translate to "no prints?"

I bought a skirt that was a big, summery turquoise/yellow flowers print. Very cute. Told pretty much to save it for when I'm off by my Clinton and Stacy stand-ins. ;) I don't recall seeing too many patterns, but as long as it's not loud/bright, I don't know why it would be a problem.

As for the park discovery day, you are allowed to wear athletic shoes, just not brightly colored ones, although that may depend on who's doing it as there was a guy with neon laces at mine.

I'm not really worried about the style--last time I went to WDW, I wore ballet flats and flip flops all day every day and was completely fine. I'm just worried that they won't like brightly colored shoes. But I don't recall seeing anything specific about the colors of dress shoes allowed.
