question about shoe organizer

We just returned from a week at Pop Century. I have a question for those of you who have taken a shoe organizer to WDW. Where did you hang it?

Mine would not hang on the door to the toilet/bath tub room. Is that where you usually hang it? The door was too thick and the hangers would not fit over it.

I ended up hanging mine on the wire shelf that has coat hangers hanging from it. That worked fine because I didn't hang up any clothes and it was beside the sink.

Even though I thought it was a good idea, I was surprised at how great the shoe organizer was. It made getting ready in the morning so much easier because I could find everything quickly. I even put my sons' shoes in the bottom pouches because they can never find them in the mornings.

I just hung mine over the hook on the bathroom door. I had no problems with it not fitting properly.

What I don't like about the bathroom door with the shoe organizer is the fact that you can't totally close the bathroom door. The hooks interfere with the door completely closing. If you force it, you're scratching the paint off the door frame.

I do like the organizer idea myself. It does save time and there's not enough counter space to satisfy everyone.

Ok, so you weren't able to shut the door? That would not work for my family. I'm the only girl and so I need the privacy of that tiny room to change clothes and take a shower.

Thanks for answering. I was trying to get the door completely closed with the shoe rack on.

I just returned from WDW and stayed at 2 hotels onsite. There was a hook on the inside of the door in both of the bathrooms. Close the door from inside the bathroom and there is the hook. That is where I hung my shoe rack.
