Question about September hours/events

Our arrival dates are Sept 7th - 12th. I was on the DL website checking park hours, parade times, etc. and for our time period it shows no parades and no fireworks. Is this correct or will the information be posted later?

It would seem the info is just not up yet. I went on the AP website, and I cannot even access further than a month in advance, which is odd. Typically, the parades run everyday at both parks, and the fireworks show Fri-Sun in the off season. I don't think I've ever been or seen when a parade has not been scheduled.
I wouldn't worry. It will be available soon.

We're heading to DL 9/7 - 9/9 and I noticed there's only the Billy Hill shows. I have been in the off season before when there hasn't been any parades or fireworks so I'm not sure any will be added to the calendar.

Thanks Mariezp! We'll have to wait and see if more is added to the calendar as the dates get closer. We haven't seen Fantasmic in a while so it would be nice to catch it on the Sun night.

MousePlanet's refurb list shows Haunted Mansion closed September 8 so she should be able to get it in on the very last day! Of course, Small World is closed until late November, at the very earliest. As for Fantasmic... guess that one's probably out.

Thanks for the information. Guess it will be a matter of checking the schedule and crossing our fingers. The last time we didn't get to see Haunted Mansion due to the Halloween makeover so it will be our first stop the first day.

This trip is just a quickie with DH, DD & DSIL so we aren't too concerned as to refurbs. It will be nice to see HM in it's normal state as we typically go Oct/Nov.

Our last experience with IASW last Jan was hilarious. It was the last night before they closed for refurb and they put all 6 of us adults into the front two seats of one of the handicap platform boats needless to say we got stuck several times and had to push ourselves along. We never laughed so hard or so much on any ride.

I, too, am anxiously awaiting the Sept. calendar so that I can get my Disney planning fix in!

That being said, when I called today to make a PS for Sept. 6th, the CM told me there would be two parades that day since they are open til midnight.

Thus, I am assuming that they just don't have the calendar updated online yet. (Which is driving the obsessive compulsive planner in me more than a little crazy!!!)

Glad I am not alone! We are used to the WDW system of dining 180 days in advance and park hours/parade times out months in advance. And when I called to see what time the dining line opened as I am on the East Coast, I was suprised to find out that I have to call every day for dining, unlike WDW where you can make all your reservations the first day they are available.

The multiple calls can be annoying, but I have never had to be on hold for the extended 45+ minute waits that you can encounter when making WDW ADRs and there is no need to call right at 7am on the 60th day out or risk not getting what you want.

Honestly I have never had a problem getting a PS at DLR, but I find myself calling at the 60 day mark because I am excited that we are that much closer to the next trip!

I can't speak to the fireworks, but I'm pretty positive there is a parade daily unless it rains or something.

I just saw the hours are posted until 26 Sept including a couple of show times and refurbs. A complete schedule is still only showing to 1 Sept.

From what I've read on here, it will be posted hopefully soon! Apparently usually they have the complete schedule up two months ahead of time, but this time for some reason it's not up yet.

I'm going to check again later tonight...I thought maybe it being a Monday they'd put it up today.l . I can't wait until it comes up to I can finalize a few things, especially for the Sunday night, which is our arrival day.

Called this morning when the dining line opened and had no problem getting Blue Bayou for our first night. Will be calling again tomorrow for Carnation Cafe and our dining will be taken care of. I found out Rainforest takes reservations 1 year in advance and have made it as well.
