Question about selling the tickets

I purchased the 5 day tickets to Universal. I have 2 adults and 2 childs. I had been told they expired in Dec, but the back of my ticket says nothing about that. Our vacation plans have changed and now we won't be able to go this year and my dd turns 10 in march so she will need an adult ticket. I had thought about just selling all 4 tickets if they expire in Dec. On the back however it says not for sale or exchange. Does that mean if I have already used a day off of it or can I sell them for the price I paid? If I put it on Ebay will it be pulled as an illegal auction?

If they don't expire in Dec maybe I could keep the 2 adult and sell the 2 children for just enough to cover my dd's ticket. So what does everyone else do when they can't use their tickets? I certainly don't want to do anything illegal. Will I just have to eat the $200? Thanks.

I was thinking that Universal may exchange them for other tickets that would work next year or something. I know one time I went to the one in Hollywood and we had some old tickets or something for Orlando (I can't remember the exact story here, this was back in 97 and I have had a few drinks since then) but anyway, the help desk or whoever they are just let us exchange them for Hollywood tickets, so there should be someone you could talk to there that could help you.
