Question about scheduling ADR's

This may have been answered before - but when I call to schedule my ADR's, do I give the time, day and place I want? Or just the place day and meal? (Monday, CP, 8 AM OR Monday, CP breakfast) Especially for the CRT which I really want to do on dd's Birthday - and don't care which meal - just the date.

We are going in August - so I am just getting my game plan together for when I can call in May. I have learned so much here already!!!

Also - is there a way for me to "bookmark" threads? I have found so many with good info - but them can't re-find them!

Yes.

Seriously, you should be ready to request specific times and/or days, but you can easily request something like (just as examples):

• CRT, breakfast, any time, any day between XXX and YYY. alternatively, dinner any day, any time.
• Chef Mickey's, Dinner, any day between XXX and YYY with a seating between 6 PM and 7:30 PM
• Liberty Tree Tavern, on day XXX, around noon.

To bookmark a thread, select "Thread Tools" and choose "Subscribe To Thread". You can then access them through your "User CP" link.

When I had made my ADRs for our trip this past Sept. I went down each day and told the CM what restaurant, whether it was for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, and the party size. She then asked early or later seating and then told me what times were available, so I could choose.

Yes and no. Assuming you get a good CM on line, they will work with you, even to the point of offering advice. As an example, once DW booked CRT for us, she tried to get our next highest priority -- a character breakfast at H&V (DS3 loves Little Einsteins, he'll be thrilled). The CM actually suggested that she wait to book that for last, simply because it doesn't fill up fast (or at all), and that we should try getting our harder reservations (Chef Mickey's, Akerhaus, Tusker House, etc.) first then work around that.

OK, so I need to try and book the most popular character meals first. Is there a thread/list of the most popular/ Does this order (of booking) sound correct?

We are open to days and times for the most part, but of course I do have times that would work better for us. My family consists of 3 early birds and me So early breakfasts or dinners are what we are used to.

I did my reservations today and simply stated the date, the location and breakfast lunch or dinner. The CM's then started to list the times for me and I picked one. Apparently though, anything after May 25th the new system takes effect and I had to do those reservations with a second agent. Either way they were fantastic! It was my first time doing reservations and they walked me through it with the utmost patience!

I did mine the other day and it was so easy.They will just ask you what day,where,and b,l,or d and then they tell you times and then give you a confirmation number its super easy.
