I was wondering if any one has been there yet and if they have alot of snack foods. I have a BJ's membership so I've never been to a Sam's Club. Since we will be staying at a villa in Windsor Palms I need to find an inexpensive place to stock up on snacks and food for my family of 8 for the week. Thanks

I have not been to the sam's in Orlando, but I have been to Sam's in several other states and they are all pretty much the same.

They have bulk packaged and individual snack size packages (sold in cases). You should also be able to stock up on water, juices or soda there.

I had a BJ's membership years ago and I think they are pretty much the same.

You could also skip the Sam's & just to the Wal-Mart super center.

If you are on 192 heading East and you see Sam's on your left, the Super Wal-mart is just a little further, on your left. If you've never been there, it's like a regular Wal-Mart plus a grocery store. Their prices are really great & they have just about anything you could need for your vacation home. It's one stop shopping! We needed food, diapers, wine, soda, shampoo, contact lens solution, and a king bed sheet, so it was nice not to have to run around to a bunch of stores.

I prefer it to Sam's Club (I'm a member here in NJ) because they have more of a variety. The also have things on special, unlike Sam's CLub.

the last time we were there in Dec. we tried to find a good price on sport top water bottles but we couldn't even find them . With 3 littlele ones , we find it's better to use these. We like the idea of disposable because we don't want to worry about cleaning the type you buy at walmart. Do you know if Sam's club carries these? We are thinking about bringing our own but it will take up alot of room in our SUV to bring 4 cases of water. We are big water drinkers. It's the only thing we really drink all day, especially in hot weather.

I don't remember if they had sport top water bottles. The ones I got were shorter & fatter than the Poland Spring sports bottles from Sams (so probably hold the same amount), but larger than the regular PS bottles.

My 2 year old can drink out of a regular water bottle and we usually share. These were fine for him but because I had a cold I brought a cup for him every day. I just froze some bottled water in it the night before.

Happy shopping!

disneywith6kids -- just save the tops from a few bottles to take with you. They're usually interchangable. :) Then when you get there, if you can only find the regular bottles, you can just replace the tops. :)

Great idea-however, I did try that last year with the water bottles we bought from Publix, they didn't fit:( maybe I'll be more successful with the one's from sam's club
