HI

First time cruiser..ever lol that is why I am doing only 3 nights to see if I like it

2 adults going on the wish for a 3 night cruise soon

I have palo booked the second night at 8:30pm, which I believe is " pirate " night.

Would I still have time to see the party and fireworks if I go to this dinner, and is the dinner worth it over the pirate night?

Lastly, I would like to make sure palo isnt the same night as frozen or 1923. Is there a way I can request that before I go on the ship? I hear Marvel is the one to skip if wanting to skip any

Thanks!

If you're a Marvel fan, then the Marvel restaurant is DEFINITELY not one to skip. It is amazing! Definitely my family's favorite of the three restaurants. Then again, to each their own!

There is a Mickey and Minnie pirate party at 7:45 on deck. You would have time to see that before dinner. The later pirate party and fireworks start at 10:15. You can tell your Palo server if you want to go to that so they will pace your meal accordingly.

You can make a request for a rotation, but this is not guaranteed. If you do not want to dine at Marvel, you would want to request a rotation where Marvel is on the second night.

Where do I make that request? I heard Frozen is an actual " show " during dinner so that is why I figured to go to that. I have no issues with Marvel

You can call DCL or use the chat function and have them add the request to your reservation.

Both Marvel and Arendelle have a show. 1923 does not.

For a 3 night, I wouldn’t bother with Palo—all of the three restaurants are worth trying out once. I thought Marvel was very fun!

Yeah was just trying to go for an adult only night since we have no kids coming with us lol Figured EVERYTHING else will mostly be around children. Its a Disney Cruise though so its to be expected ;]

Fair enough but I will add that we had our kids with us and they loved the kids clubs so much we had plenty of time on our own and there are quite a few adult spaces on the ship aside from Palo. The adult pool and Cove Cafe, drinks at the adult only Rose bar or the piano bar Nightingales, the Spa (we did the rainforest room—expensive but definitely a quiet retreat for adults).

Great I’ll check them out

Any idea where on the ship we can get pina coladas

Also, which of the main dining restaurants can I go to for lunch, that way I can try it if its on my Palo day. Also, do you need reservation for lunch at them? Sorry this is all new to me

On embarkation day lunch was served at Arendelle and on the other two days it was served at 1923. Yours may be different. You do not need a reservation you just show up during the posted hours.

Wheezy's Freezies Deck 12 by the Toy Story Water Play Area was advertising them. Ask any bartender on board and they'll make you one. If you want an AMAZING Pina Colada go to John Watlings Distillery in Nassau.

I had friends on a 3 night sailing and they did an early Palo reservation for Desert and appetizers off the A La Carte menu and then went down for the full dinner at Arendelle (skipped the apps and did second desert). Said it was perfect for them to figure out they wanted to book full Palo for the Frozen show night in the future. 🤣 They didn't care for the performers and I have to agree.

We did a 4 night. Marvel - Frozen - Frozen (Pirate) - 1923 was our rotation. I liked this because we had Dinner and Breakfast in 1923. I highly encourage you to eat breakfast and/or lunch at least one time on the opposite side of the restaurant as the art inside is different. Your app will say "1923 - Roy Disney" or "1923 - Walt Disney" so just go to the opposite side for sit down breakfast/lunch to experience the other dining room.
