Question about room requests

How do you go about (politely) askign for a free froom upgrade successfully? Jenny and I would appreciate your help on this matter. We're staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge and would like to ask for a specific upgrade on the location of the room when we arrive at the resort.

The best way is to do what you said, politely ask. They may or may not be able to accomodate you. Keep in mind that this isn't something that happens most of the time, it happens sometimes. So if you have your heart set on a particular upgraded view, then I would book that room and pay the extra $$$. Otherwise, if you would still be completely satisfied with the room category that you booked, then give it a shot and see what happens! Good Luck!
