Question about room only ???

I know you have 5 days prior to cancel. No worries there. But I have three spilt stays this Sept. The last one I check into the BWI on Sept 11 to the 24th. My husband can only stay until the 17th or 18th. I might want to stay until the 21st or 22nd. I was told I had to tell them by Sept 11th how long I will be staying. Then I was told as long as it was 5 days before I wanted to leave. I hope this make sense. I thought if I called on the 14th to tell them I am leaving on the 20th it would be okay. Disney travel Co tells me differently each time I call even when I talk to a GR. Any ideas?

I think the five-day cancellation policy is before you actually check into the resort, not while you are actually a guest.

Thank you , this is what I thought as well. I know last year we were able to leave earlier as we got really sick. The resort manager was kind enough to let us go and gave us two nights credit. It worked out for them as they could sell at rack rate instead of the 40% we got.
