Question about room only vs package?

We booked our upcoming trip "room only" b/c when we booked it, they were expecting the new packages (MYW) to come out still, they told me to wait until they did. I recently called (3 months ago) and added 6 day base tickets with park hopping. Is this the MYW pacakge or not? When I call, they say room-only and I say "but we have tickets ordered right?" They say yes. I am wondering because we might add the dining plan.. Do you think that we can?

Is there anything else that makes it a MYW package versus room plus park tickets?

If you have a room only reservation with tickets booked (that have not been mailed out to you), you can add the dining plan on. You have to add it on outside of 48 hours before your arrival date. If you plan on eating while at WDW I strongly suggest adding the plan. I saved 50% of our meals by having the plan. I won't ever leave home without it.
