Hey guys, I am very new to the boards, which I am now addicted!
I'm so excited!!!!!
Many questions....
My family of 5 (myself...32, husband 34, son 13, son 10, and daughter 8) will be driving in June to Disney....this will be our first roadtrip . Last year was our first year and we flew. We only stayed 3 days at All Star Movies, and we loved it!
This year we are driving and staying for a week. We are booked for Port Orleans Riverside. We live in Keller, Texas (close to FTW). My husband wants to leave at 3am on a Saturday morning...which is fine with me since he will be doing the early driving...I will still be in zombie mode . We plan on driving through La, Ms, and Al. He wants to stop somewhere in Florida to stay the night. Then get up and head to Disney. So where should we stay??? I've looked at Tallahassee, Pensicola, Daytona Beach, Oscala. We would like to get up the next morning and only spend a few hours driving.
My other problem is finding a hotel that we can all stay in 1 room. Since there will be five....I'm only able to find rooms for 4. We are looking at maybe 50-100.00. Any suggestions???
Has anyone ever made this trip from Texas??? I am welcomed to any suggestions or ideas on where to stop for gas, food, etc.
