question about Riverside

I am staying at Port Orleans Riverside in August. I have heard about a carriage ride. Would this be okay for myself, sister and our 3 children? I want to do some kind of fun magical moment without my sister's knowledge so I want to find something fun for us to do. Any thoughts would be great. I want something other than a character meal since none of the kids would agree on the options and they are all picky eaters!!

It will depend a lot on the age of the kids. If the kids are small all five of you will fit but if they are teens then you'd have to do two carriages. The carraige ride is about a half hour, so again, if your children are really small or real active they might not want to sit that long with only relaxing scenery to entertain them. It cost about $40 and I'm not sure if that includes gratuity.

If any of you like fishing POR has a "fishing hole" that is a catch and release deal.

Just walking around the grounds of POR is pretty magical, it is a very beautiful resort and the landscaping is wonderful.
