Question about rides at SW

I have read a bit about three major "thrill" rides they have at Sea World. Do they have other rides as well, or just those three? DD is not a thrill-rider, but she does enjoy other, more tame types of rides. DH insists there must be "all sorts of rides" there, but I just don't know...

Any feedback will be much appreciated!

As far as I know, there are really just the 3 rides. They have Shamu's Happy Harbor which has some things for kids to do. I think it's mostly sea animal attractions.

The only 3 rides are Kraken, Journey to Atlantis and Polar Express. With Polar Express there are 2 journeys one by air (motion simulator) and by land. Like the previous poster has said there is Shamu's Happy Harbor and there are multiple animal shows there. This is not a thrill park but a animal and sealife park.

Thanks for the quick responses!

I really just had to ask the question about rides because, as I had said, DH insisted there must be lots of rides there (at Sea World).

BTW, I knew what Sea World is. And I can't wait to see Shamu and also the penguins!!!

If your DH wants lots of rides, perhaps you can fit a trip to SeaWorld's sister park Busch Gardens Tampa Bay into your itenerary. We were just there last week and it was fabulous! We rode Sheekra, the new diving coaster.... only complaint was that it was too short! We also rode Kumba... by far their best coaster, and Montu-- similar to Kracken--, Rhino Rally, Congo River Rapids and another one of the water rides. We skipped 4 of the coasters... The Python-- a corkscrew coaster- the 1st coaster built at Busch Gardens, The Scorpion-- has one loop and many flat spirals , The Cheetah Chase-- a wild mouse ride recently imported from another sister park-- Busch Gardens, Williamsburg, and Gwazi-- a dueling wooden coaster that is pretty wild! Busch Gardens is a beautiful park with plenty to do for the younger kids, as well, with Land of the Dragons, and another kiddie section, not to mention the fantastic animals!

If you get the chance, Busch Gardens is about an hours drive west of SeaWorld off of I-4 in Tampa and well worth the drive!

we are huge riders we go to six flags almost ever sunday... but which ever is the huge rollercoster that takes up a lot of the back park.. i chickened out of.. my husband wanted to ride it so bad, and i was like nope and if you got close to it you heard the people screaming on it lol
