Question about ride closures

When were at the parks last year in September Ariel's ride kept having problems and would randomly be closed at different times throughout the days we were there. It was DS's favorite ride so he was very disappointed. Is it still having problems or are they fixed?

The Storybook Canal Boats are scheduled to be closed for our entire trip, beginning of Dec., is that a definite or could it open?

Since Storybook Canal is on the DL site as being refurbed, I sadly think there's little to no chance of it being open during that time. Apparently it was closed at that time last year as well for refurb.

The first day of my trip is November 30 so my group is going to try to squeeze it in that day since it is closing December 1 and will be unavailable the rest of our trip, same with Goofy's Sky School over in DCA!

Any ride could be down at any point, so there is no way to know if Little Mermaid will be up and running when you go. That being said, I was there September and it was running whenever I walked by; so it didn't seem particularly closure prone to me.
