Question about returning to Cali Grill for Fireworks

HI. My wife and I have 5:30 PM dinner reservations at the CG. During that time our daughter will be at the new Pixar Play Zone. We plan on returning to the Restaurant to watch HEA, maybe 30 minutes before the show. Does anyone know if it would be OK to bring our daughter back up for the Fireworks even though she didn't dine with us? Also is 1/2 an hour before HEA enough time to get back up there and secure a spot outside to watch the show?

Should be fine. We took our nieces up there after my wife and I dined there in the afternoon and no one questioned it.

As long as you have your receipt, you should be fine. 30 minutes should be plenty of time to get upstairs (even if they are busy) and get a spot outside.
Just remember you can see the fireworks and hear the music. You will not see much of the castle projections.

It is neat to see HEA from different perspectives. In June, we had some that would not be able to handle the fireworks from inside MK so we did the Pirates Fireworks Party out of CR. Then a few nights later, we were later than we though and watched from Tomorrowland, mostly fireworks. When I was there in January, I saw HEA three nights in a row, once from the HEA Dessert Party Garden, once from my window seat at CRT (you could feel the heat of the fireworks), and once from my window seat at Cali Grill. I would like to see if from the different walkways they have at Cali Grill.
