Question about returning cars at DW Car Center

I have to rent a car ( instead of taking ME ) to get from MCO to Disneyworld because we have to make 1 stop before we get to the AoA resort.

I plan to drive directly to the DW Car Center and promptly return the car. When we return the car at the Rental agency, is it usually a quick drop off where we drive up, they scan my paperwork, we take our luggage and then leave?

For example, when I drop off the car at the Airport....we drive into a huge row of cars, park behind the last car....the attendant checks me out and we just leave.

I forget if we have to drop the car off and then go back into the Car Center to do the paperwork for the return of the car.

Also, since we are coming in from the airport directly...we will have our luggage. Does the Shuttle able to accommodate luggage for 4 people?

I'm trying to figure out how much time it will take for me to return the car and then get to the resort for Check In since we have Lunch reservations at Epcot.

IMHO if you are on a tight time frame, I'd drop the family & luggage off at the resort head to CCC and drop the car off, then take uber/lyft back to the resort unless a shuttle is going to you resort right away.

I would drop the family and luggage off at AoA, take the car to the CCC and have the CCC drop you off at EPCOT for your lunch reservation, meeting the family there that took the Skyliner from AoA. They will drop you off anywhere on property. When I returned a car to CCC in 2019 it was a very simple process, but I had also rented the car there, no idea if it would be different on a one way rental.
