Question about restaurants for 2008 DP Please help!

Going to the World for New Year's. We arrive on Sat. 12/29 and leave Sat. 1/5. Called this morning for our 180-day ADRs. No problem for the dates in 2007, but for the 2008 dates, the CM said the restaurants have not been confirmed for the Dining Plan yet. She said it most surely would not be a problem, but could not say for sure. Of course, we went ahead and booked our reservations anyway.

Could anyone please tell me when the info about the Dining Plan for 2008 would be out? Biting my nails now, waiting for this.

Any informations would be appreciated. Thanks!

I'm pretty sure last year the list (though it wasn't final, either) came out in mid to late August. The prices were released at the same time....

We've got a stay in early Jan (arriving on the 5th), too. They won't even let us add DDP to our DVC ressie until the prices are released...so we're waiting on that info, as well.

I have another question, too. I have heard that the gratuity will no longer be included on the DDP in 2008. How does this work if we arrive in 2007 and leave in 2008? Will the gratuity only be included in the 2007 portion of our stay or for the whole thing? Also, will we be paying the same price for the whole thing, since we check in in 2007, or will they charge us more for the days in 2008? When we booked, they gave us one price and did not say it would be being adjusted once the new rates come out. Am I safe to assume they won't change for BECAUSE we check in in 2007?

These little confused smilies are putting it mildly! Anyone have any idea? Anyone been through it last year?

DDP for 2008 has not been announced and until it is, EVERYTHING is a rumor.

Unfortunately, until they announce any changes, anything anyone tells you is just conjecture.
