Question about reservations

We just bought into DVC last week during our Disney cruise. VWL is our home resort and we are planning a trip "home" (I like the way that sounds!) March 2004. I haven't received any paperwork back yet and wasn't sure when I could make reservations. Do I need to wait for my packet or will MS have information already loaded in their computer?

I am pretty sure that once you have signed the "ears" you can make your reservations.

You can make reservations with current use year points (but not banked or borrowed) until you close then all the regular rules apply.

You should be able to call on Monday. I bought over the phone direct from DVC and my guide told me I could make reservations later that day as soon as they had the deposit loaded into the computer. They can track down your member # by your social security #.

I was able to borrow points before I closed. My guide said they had just changed the rules on that This was in April.

I also think you can borrow points before closing now.

Once you put your deposit down you should be able to make reservations.
