Question About Reservation?

WE ARE GOING SEPTEMBER 13TH. I CALLED AND RESERVED A ROOM ONLY FOR 7 NIGHTS, $77 A NIGHT. I RECIEVED A PAPER IN THE MAIL TO MAKE MY DEPOSIT. ONCE I MAKE MY DEPOSIT IF A CODE COMES OUT CAN I STILL CALL AND CHANGE IT WITH THE CODE AT THE SAME HOTEL. OR IF I WAS TO GO AHEAD AND PAY IT OFF DO THEY REFUND THE MONEY? Only a certain # of discounted rooms are available, and if they are, you can request your rate be switched to the lower rate. If the discount isn't available for your entire stay, you may want to break up your reservation into several segments, to get the discount for part of the time (and keep checking for more availablility at the lower rate). Or, if you have flexibility with dates, ask the CM to check availibility at different times.

We're never pre-paid the entire room cost, so can't answer the refund question. I've read that some people leave the $$$ there and when they check in they have some extra $$$ to cover the cost of some meals.
 
By all means send in your deposit now. If and when a code comes out, call right away and have it applied to your reservation. I've done this a few times, since I always make my reservations at least 9 months in advance. At least I know I have a room, and what's the most it will cost. Good luck!!
