My 2-park power pass has expired. If I call within 30 days of the expiration date I will save money if I renew by phone.

My question is will I have to take another photo for my annual pass again?

Does anyone know? I was just curious if we get to keep our old photo and they just renew the old one.

Thanks

Unless they've changed the procedure, you won't have to take another picture. They'll simply renew/extend the expiration date on your current pass.

I was at the park last week and wanted to renew my preferred annual pass. They stated that if I renewed there, they would give me one of those new crappy paper annual passes with no picture. If I renewed by phone, I could keep my current photo pass.

By the way, ask about upgrading to a preferred pass when renewing your power pass. They offered me a good deal to upgrade last year and the renewals on the preferred are only $99 + tax.

I've been renewing by phone just for that reason. It's also a lot cheaper than my Disney AP. I still have my maiden name on my AP b/c I don't want a crappy paper one. Good thing my middle name is my maiden name or I might have a problem. :goodvibes

Thanks everyone. I did not want to have to take another picture. As always, people are so helpful on these boards.

The only pass where a picture is taken is the Premier Pass.

I don't have the Premier Pass. I have the 2 park power pass and that has my pic on it.
Right...but if you lose it, the new pass will look like a regular ticket. They don't do pictures on the Power or Preferred passes anymore.

Are there any discounts for renewing the 2 park power pass? I have one that expires next month.

I think the Power pass renewal is $99.00 plus tax...just like the Preferred. You should think about upgrading since you aren't getting the discounts right now.

Just a thought.

I saved $80 total. It was 106.00 that includes tax and I needed 4 of them.

If I waited longer then 30 days after my expiration date then I would of paid 126 per pass.

I have a power pass that expired this month. When I go to renew it can I upgrade to the regular annual pass? And if so how much would the renewal be?

if you renew within the 30 days for the pap, you can keep the original pass that has your photo on it.

if you don't, then it is like metro stated, your new pass is like a ticket.

premiere passes all have photos now.
all others if they are new for 2008, do not have the photo on it.

i have the pap and as long as i renew it on time, i will be keeping the photo pap.

Ya know....I HAVE one of the "crappy paper" AP's everyone refers to....let me enlighten you all....They are not "paper" at all...and they are not "crappy". They are a durable, laminated, waterproof cardstock and they cannot be torn....believe me, we gave DS his and told him to try to tear it...he couldn't. So, they are not as flimsy and crappy as you all think...they are thinner and yes, look like a regular ticket and don't have a photo, but that's okay with me becuz I really don't want my photo on mine..... just an 'fyi'.......
