Question about Rains and Boat Cruises

We are here at WDW right now and have a wishes cruise booked for tomorrow night. It has been clouding up and raining almost every night. My question is if you have to still pay even if it is raining and can't do the cruise???

I'm pretty sure if they cancel you get a refund....about 99% sure

I was talking to Jeff one of the BW captains the other night and the cruises were canceled and his happened to be a anniversary cruise... I hope they had fun back up plans incase of rain

Last year our Illuminations cruise was cancelled due to rain - we were put on a wait list, in case someone cancelled, during our stay but they never called . To answer your question - you are not charged if they cancel the cruise. You do have to be at the boat dock at your requested time and wait until they officially cancel the cruises.

They told me when I booked this week for August Illuminations that even if Illuminations Cancels for any reason the boat will still cruise since they have canopys. She said I have to pay if the cruise is going out. I think its pretty rare to cancel Illuminations though.

Our MK fireworks cruise last Thursday 6/24 was cancelled due to lightening . . . we ate at Kona Cafe at the Polynesian, and we could hear the wind, rain & thunder. We walked to the concierge lounge, and someone called the marina to get the official word, which was yes, the cruises were cancelled due to weather and we would not be charged.

Maybe next time.
