Question about QS and TS

I am thinking about getting the DDP instead of the DXDDP. it says 1 QS and 1 TS per day. do i have to get the TS each day? we are only wanting 4 TS meals. we are going to eat breakfast in our room, except for one morning where we will eat with Donald at Tusker House. then we will pay OOP for a lunch. our table service meals will be at

Tusker House, Chef Mickey, Coral Reef, Ohana

so can i use the TS credits for QS?

You do not have to use 1 TS and 1QS each day. You can use 5 QS in one day and 2 TS in one day. They do not restrict you to 1 of each each day. There should be no reason to pay oop. Some QS spots will take a TS credit some will not. All you can do is ask.

Depending on your length of stay, I'd rethink any dining plan (I'm not a fan of the QSDP, especially for 2012). If you're doing less than 1 TS per night of stay, then DDP will likely cost you more than it would OOP (now, if it's under the Free Dining Promotion, 1 or 2 won't hurt that bad).

Most definitely, unless you're doing 1-2 nights, then DxDDP is not the way to go with only 4 TS.

In answer to the question, sometimes, most likely at resort CS. It's not consistent at all and many times parks have denied this.

The dining plan may not be the best deal for you if you only want 4 TS meals. Have you considering paying OOP for all your meals? Now, if you have free dining, you can either hope your TS can be used for QS (discretion of the restaurant) or book two more TS (or one 2 credit TS). If it's FD, that's basically an FD upgrade. If you're looking to get in and out quickly, you may want to choose a buffet. CP in MK is nice as is Cape May at BC.
