Question about purchasing Disney Dollars at DL...

I thought I read somewhere that you can purchase Disney $$ using a credit card in the park. Also, that if you wanted to get cash and avoid high ATM fees to simply purchase Disney $$ then cash them in. Is this possible?

Did you know that you can also cash a personal check made out to Disneyland for up to 100.00 a day at The Bank of Main Street or City Hall with proper I.D. I don't know about the credit card to buy them. Good Question?

At the Disney Store you must purchase Disney Dollars with checks or cash. However, in the thread here it's mentioned that you can, indeed, purchase Disney Dollars with a credit card at Disneyland, and it even seems to be fairly common.

I purchased Disney dollars today at the disney store and put them on a credit card.

Ack! Upon further examination, my source proved to unreliable! (hangs head in shame. ) I should have known better that to believe anything told to me by...drumroll please...my husband! My statements were based on an assumption he made...he thought that since Disney Dollars are like cash, you couldn't purchase them on credit, and I assumed that he had asked someone.
