Question about PS planning

I understand that I need to make PS arrangements for character meals, but how far do you have to go with all these advance arrangements? Do you need to make a PS for Boma or Jiko, even if you're staying at AKL? How hard is it to get a seat in the table service restaurants, or the nicer ones?

We'll be using the dining plan, but I'm not sure I want to have to plan my meals 90 days in advance! How am I supposed to know now when we'll be hungry or not?

Anyway, how have the rest of you handled it?

the nicer ones are quite popular; so, unless you want to wait then PS is highly recommended. even though you are staying at AKL yes, you will need PS for either boma(both meals) and jiko. and definitely will need PS for character meals. we usually just book a time close to the time we usually eat meals at home. this has always worked well for us. good luck!

Thanks for letting me know! I think that's going to be the only downside for me since we're not even sure what days we're going to be at what park, LOL. I guess it's time to figure that out too!
