Question about postcard rates

We received one in the mail today for moderates but it was addressed to my BROTHER IN LAW. The only reason I can think this happened is a couple years I go I booked all rooms and got the confirmations sent here.

Anyway, it has my address on it and I have the postcard, but can I book the rate????

Oops...I had two questions. The other is that the last date is 2/11/04. As long as I check in by that date, should I get that rate?

My MOTHER just called me tonite- she got a postcard with a discount for deluxe resorts sent to her at her address.

I called and booked a room at AKL using the code and didn't have a problem at all.

The worst they can say is "no discount". I figure it's worth the phone call.

If the last date on the card is 2/11/04 it is my understanding that you will be charged a higher rate on 2/12 and any other nights you stay after that.

I would love to get an answer regarding the post card rates. We are already booked for a February trip to the Poly and would love to know if we are able to use the postcard rate that we received if it is cheaper than our current package?

Any help would be great!

maybe it's different when using the postcard discounts, but usually your nightly room charge is set by the first night rate. Peak season starts 2/12. If you check in on 2/11 or before, you'll get the value season rate for your entire trip, even if it goes past the 11th. Same thing goes if you start your trip during peak season and it ends in the value season - you'll be charged the peak season rate for the entire trip.

Thanks Geoff. That's what I thought too but thought I would ask. I figure I do HAVE the postcard so that should count for something. And if they look us up in the computer they can see that we all usually travel together.
