Question about post-wedding Park photo shoots

Hello all :)

So I read very many horror stories about the MK castle post-wedding pix--some are great, others come out with horrible pix.

My question is this: do most people have bad experiences with EPCOT park pix too? Brides who decided on an EPCOT shoot rather than/in addition to an MK shoot, were you as dissatisfied with these pictures as with castle pix?

DF and I are more interested in pix at EPCOT around the World Showcase than we are in MK pictures, but if inconsistency is typical of EPCOT pictures as well, we're gonna forget the whole thing :sad2: I'm trying to figure out if the main problem is difficult lighting at that time of day with the castle, or if it's Disney photographer incompetency in general.

I know of one bride who loved her Epcot pix and one who didn't - the latter had both her MK and Epcot shoots on the same day and with the same photographer.

The problem ain't the lighting...:rotfl:

LOL, ok, understood. Definitely feel a bit reticent to do it at all...

Well, having said that, I totally do not want to discourage anyone from having an MK or other park shoot. It is a really fun experience. You just have to go into it knowing that the photos may not be the quality you expected.

One way to avoid this is to find out who shot the pictures you like (well, OK, that didn't work for us, but we were relying on Disney to tell us who shot the picture we sent them....). If Amanda (Princess Bride) ever remembers who did her MK pictures, that guy is gonna be SOOOO busy! :rotfl:

We had both MK and Epcot bridals. As lurkyloo said, this is not a lighting issue. I think once we get the high resolution DVD we can edit the photos to look nicer. You might even be able to see our faces! :rotfl:

I didn't see your thread earlier, if I had, I wouldn't have posted the one I just posted a few moments ago. You and I are on the same page here I think. I've given up on the MK photoshoot, strictly because, as much as I want to be at the castle and have my pics there, I'm not sure it's worth getting up that early for pictures I'm not going to be able to see my face. :rotfl: (if it's that early, you may not want too).

I think DH and I are going to go for the EPCOT ones instead. There are so many areas that I think are fantastic photo spots.

:goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes Come on Amanda.....think, think, think...who took your MK shots? Sending you good vibes to remember....:goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes
