Question about possible reservation modification ?

Unfortunately I have a terminally ill relative. I am worried he will pass away the week I am supposed to leave for our Disney trip. If I have to delay the trip ( instead of arriving on Thursday I would arrive in Orlando on Sunday) so I can attend the funeral. Would Disney hold my reservation if I call them to let them know. My trip is fully paid. I do have trip insurance. I am not so much worried about the missed days as I am about losing my reservation entirely Anyone have experience with this?

You would need to contact Disney. You can modify a vacation package 2-29 days before arrival. I believe there is a $50 fee to modify a reservation.

Disney will try there best to work with you.
