Any one know if there is a blow dryer in the rooms? Also how about an iron?
I am just trying to save space in the suitcases.

I'm fairly sure the answer to both your questions is yes. THey may not be already in your room, but you can call and request them.

However, if the hairdryers are the same as the other resorts, you may want to take your own. My daughter, and I have thick hair and it is really time consuming to dry it with the lower power ones.

I do know that coffee pots are not available. That is going to be what takes up the room in my suitcase.

Have a great trip. Are you leaving soon?

When we were there, our room had an iron and ironing board. I don't remember there being a blow dryer.

I wish I was leave today (cold and rain right now). We arrive on June 29th and are staying until July 6th. The off to Ft. Lauderdale for some beach time.

Cold and rainy here in Ohio too. Kids very upset, that they could not wear shorts today.

I did a search on the Pop thread, and it seems like the hairdryer is not a sure thing, but the iron is in the rooms. I plan on taking mine, just in case.

Have fun getting ready for your trip. We leave in 10 days, and I'm just so sick of waiting. Undoubtedly, I will still be rushed when it comes time to actually get things in the suitcase, and out the door. You would think, after months of planning, that I'd be more ready at this point.

If the POP is like the other All-Star resorts, hair dryers are not in the room. Whenever I stay at the value resorts, I bring mine. :flower:

Funny, you must be close by. I am in Cincy! :wave2: Are you staying at POP? I have already started to pack. I read some great ideas on Allearsnet.com about what to bring and how to pack. The ziplock bags are a great idea. I would have never thought of that.

Hey FabFive I'm from Dayton :wave2:, we are starting to get the showers :umbrella:! Going to Disney in June and staying at the POP for a second time, for a value hotel my family loved it! I stayed at the pop 60's building and there was a iron but no hairdyer! Enjoy your trip!

Hi Karen

Are you going to be there at the end of the month? My kids picked this resort. I think it looks like a lot of fun. We are bringing a Disney first timer with us to ride with our son (his best friend is a girl). My husband and I will ride with our two girls.

There was an ironing board, iron and hairdryer in the room we had in Feb.

FabFive, I will be going the second week in! I have never gone during the summer, always during October and Late March. Should be interesting!!! My DH loved staying at Pop, the buses run smooth. The only down side is the walk to the rooms w/ luggage, but I heard they have changed around the parking alittle. :flower:

Karen, and Fabfive:

Karen: We are almost neighbors. I live in Enon.

Fabfive: I grew up closer to Cincy. I still spend more time there than in Dayton.

We are staying at Pop next week, well actually the end of next week, but it still counts as next week. We are hoping for the 50's area- kids choice is the bowling ball pool. We will have a rental car, for the first time, but will still use the busses at times. My 9 Y.O. likes them?? This will be our first time at a value resort. We have always lucked out w/ discounts, and stayed moderate, and one time deluxe. I'm excited about Pop though. Most reviews are fairly positive.

Have fun planning, and I'll report back to ya about Pop Century.

Have a great day.

I am from Ohio, Lakewood, and now live in Chicago. And it is raining like crazy. I just got a PM from someone and they leaving me a coffeemaker. I am there April 27-May 2. If anyone is going after me I would be happy to leave it for them. Just let me know.

Irons and ironing boards come standard in the room. Hair dryers are available upon request. Just give Mousekeeping a call.
