Question about Podcast regarding ME, from a couple of weeks ago

Hi all,

I have a question. We are flying into MCO, later in the day on Saturday, the 15th of May, and so we were just going to stay at a hotel near the airport and my DVC member who I am renting points through said they only offer ME unless you are flying into the airport. A week or so ago someone asked this question on the podcast and the team said it was possible, so why was I told you couldn't do it?

I'm not sure I understand the question.

Magical Express provides roundtrip transportation between Orlando International Airport and Disney resorts, only.

You could certainly use the Magical Express service, but you would need to get from your airport hotel back to Orlando International Airport to catch the Magical Express bus.

If your DVC rentee is telling you otherwise, perhaps there's a miscommunication. But from what you've written - it sounds like you're looking for the Magical Express bus to take you from your off-property hotel to Walt Disney World, which can't be done.

I can't comment as to whether that was said on the podcast or not because I didn't hear the question/answer as it appeared on the podcast.

What we are doing is getting in later in the day and staying at a hotel near the airport and then would take the shuttle back MCO to catch ME the next morning but I'm being told it can't be done.

Then it sounds like there's a miscommunication somewhere between you and your DVC rentee.

Just ask them to add Magical Express service the day after your arrival. You might want to just go ahead and find a flight that arrives at MCO about the time you'll be arriving at the airport. Give that airline and flight number to the person you've rented from, and it shouldn't be a problem to have it added.

If they still won't let you do it, you can try calling the Magical Express office yourself to add it. They can be reached at 866-599-0951
