Question about Pleasure Island

I am going to Disney with three friends. Two of us are eighteen, the other two are not. Are we allowed to go into the Adventurer's Club and Comedy Club? Do we have to pay now that PI is open to everyone?

I haven't been since the restrictions began so I don't know about you having to pay, but you should be able to get into the AC even though you're 18. What they've done in the past is put a bracelet on your wrist upon entry to PI that is colored, with the color indicating whether or not you can be served alcohol. So you can get in, you just can't drink. Its a pretty neat place.

being 18 you should get through. You will get a bracelet to wear to show that you are not over 21, even then you might get carded. We were there in April and believe it or not this girl who you could tell was 16 or so, tried to use a fake ID to get into pleasure island. What could be worse then trying to sneak into Disney and being under age?

Minors under 18 are required to be accompanied by an adult age 21 or over.

That reminds me of my last visit to the island. There was a group of teens and the leader of the group was trying to get into PI with a fake ID. (None of them looked over the age of 17) It was pretty funny to watch, they had at least four security guards there and the CM, and every time he was told that the ID was fake one of his friends would pump up his chest and say that it wasn't that it was new one that he had just pick up before they left for their trip to Orlando.

And the first thing that popped into my mind was "Ya, in which back alley did you pick it up in?"

And needless to say security was not that impressed either.

But it was fun to watch for a while.

According to the recent press release, your under-18 friends will not be able to get into the clubs unless one of you is 21 or older. Here's the Press Release:

Pleasure Island to Operate Un-gated 5/23 - 8/14

Beginning May 23 and running until August 14th, Pleasure Island will be testing out operations as an un-gated area. In other words, anyone will be able to walk around Pleasure Island, including the outside of the clubs.

To enter any of the clubs, you will need Pleasure Island admission. The PI Ticket will grant you admission to all clubs.

Persons under 18 must be accompanied by a person 21 years of age or older and who has an acceptable form of identification in order to enter the clubs. Additional age restrictions may apply.
