Question about phone appt with Rosie

Hi, all.

I have a phone appointment on Tuesday with Rosie and I have a few questions for all of you.

1) If you had inspiration photos, did you e-mail them to her before or after the phone call?

2) What other stuff gets discussed with her? Linens for the ceremony? What about cake stuff and any extras for the ceremony? If not her, does my coordinator book this stuff?

3) Do I get a separate floral BEO after talking with her, or is it all-inclusive?

Email them before - this can be very helpful! That way you're on the same page about what you're looking for.

I'm not sure whether Escape weddings do their cakes through Rosie, but she is definately the one to talk to about linens and other decor. I'm also not sure if you get a separate Floral BEO the way Wishes weddings do.

Hopefully an Escape bride or groom will be along shortly to help out!

After lurking the boards for awhile now....I can finally be helpful! I just had my phone conference with Rosie last week, and you don't get a separate BEO from floral, it's just all rolled in to the final bill.

I had emailed pictures to my planner prior to the meeting with Rosie..I did get a seperate floral proposal you will get one that is just floral after you have your meeting with her.

I didn't have a phone conversation with her. I just emailed everything to her as being in the UK the time difference was always inconvienent. I sent her pictures of the bouquet i wanted and pictures of the flowers i wanted to use from brides bouquets of the Dis Forum

She emails me back within two days and is shes unsure of anything she asks you to check with you. She has sent me a BEO with my floral and my photography on, and has amended it several times for me.

We met with Rose (is there a Rose and a Rosie or is it the same person) face to face. We had no idea what we wanted for centerpieces (I'm not sure either of us care). So, I'm not alot of help on question 1.

As for question 2, Rose came up with linen ideas (white with black overlays to match my dress), favor ideas (we are going with mickey shaped wine stoppers), and napkin shape ideas.

Our regular BEO came in about 4 weeks after our planning session and the floral came in 2 weeks later. Ultimately, they get rolled into 1 BEO but the floral one does take longer.

Rosie is the Escape wedding Floral Event Manager, and Rose is one of the Wishes wedding Floral Event Managers. Who'd a thunk it?

Rosie is absolutely amazing and really sweet! Email her some of your ideas / photos before your planning call and then she'll have chance to read over them and you can chat easier as then she'll have a good understanding of what you want and how she can help. She is VERY easy to work with, I've been sending her lots of photos & ideas and I'm always changing my mind and she helps me out everytime

I talked about our cake with our planner, but I also sent Rosie some photos so she knew what we were having & we've also now added a little bit of floral too it - so she deals with that part of the cakes

We've discussed my bouquet and DF's buttonhole, ceremony decor, cake cutting decor, meal / reception decor and dessert party decor with her. Also sorted our photoshoots with her and booked Stitch to attend our cake cutting Basically, floral, entertainment & photography. Your planner may also need to be involved or aware of certain bits of this too.

We've just received our Floral BEO so it is seperate.

I'm an Escape bride though, so if you are a wishes bride this might all be different
