I cannot stand for even short periods at all now. I need a knee replacement but have to lose about 80 lbs first. My concern is La Nouba - I will be using a wheelchair to get from the parking lot to the building, and for waiting in line because I don't know how long we would have to wait to get in, and also I understand there is not much seating outside.

Once inside however I will be using a regular seat, not a handicap seat. Is there a way we can "park" the wheelchair in a safe place? I am really nervous about someone stealing it.

I thought about calling La Nouba directly but can only find numbers to make a reservation, and I was wanting to tak to someone actually in the building.

I have seen many Disney restaurants park wheelchairs outside or in the general waiting area for people that do not want to stay in the chair while eating. I have never been to the place you are asking about so I'm not sure where they would put it, but they would help you with that. I would think that it would be safe, just don;t leave anything of value that would entice a person. Also I have read on here that if you place a sign on the back that makes yours more personal and easy to identify then it will be safer.

I was trying to find a link for you because the La Nouba website used to have information about guests traveling with wheelchairs, but I no longer see it.
The phone number listed on the Disney official website to call for more information for La Nouba is 407-939-7600.
I would suggest calling them because they will give you the most complete information you can probably get ahold of. I’m quite certain that there is no seating in the waiting area and if you can’t stand while you wait to get in, you will need to bring your wheelchair with you. Let the staff know what you need when you check in - I’m sure you won’t have to leave the wheelchair outside and will not be the only person they have spoken to with a wheelchair.

People sitting in non-accessible seats have posted in the past that they used the wheelchair to get as close as possible to their seat and then walked the rest of the way. The staff then took the wheelchair and moved it out of the way.
People who did have wheelchairs and stayed in them have posted that the seat they got had a removable chair, which was just taken out so they could park the wheelchair where the chair had been.
