we were fortunate enough to find a ressie to rent thru a dvc member- I reserved the dining plan, but as of this moment have not purchased any park tickets.

is there a way to purchase park tickets that can be attached to my room card- either thru disney or elsewhere? I know ticketmania has the best prices- would it be best to just deal with carrying room card and separate tickets? if we purchased thru ticketmania, is it possible to extend number of days on the ticket once we get there?

Thanks!

When we bought tickets from an outsider reseller (mapleleaf), we were able to add them to our room card. The front desk did it for us when we checked into OKW. I do find it easier to have one card to worry about carrying around, so we always put our tickets & charging priveleges on our room keys.

I don't have any experience with adding days to the tickets already purchased, so I can't help out with that question.

If you are talking about extending the Ticketmania tickets at their prices, you would need to contact them directly for an answer.

You can, of course, always purchase park admissions at the Gate or at your DVC Resort guest services.

Great question! I was actually wondering the same thing. When you buy tickets through an outside vendor, does it matter who you get them through if you're going to have them attached to your key card? I was planning on using Undercover Tourist since their rates include both tax and shipping and there's the possibility of other discounts via Mousesavers in their newsletter. (I believe I'd read that on this board and want to thank whomever offered up that gem.) Anyone had any experience getting these added to room keys?

Thank you in advance for any information.

My dad & his wife just stayed at SSR on our points. They ordered their tickect from somewhere. When they checked in, I asked the CM to add their tickets to their room key. No problem at all. As a matter of fact, she wrote void on the back of their paper tickets and gave them back as "souveniers".

transferring your tics to your room key is very easy as previous posts have indicated...but...I also believe that you can only transfer "unused" tickets which means you cannot activate your ticket at one of the parks and then go to your hotel and try to transfer the ticket to your room key.

Apparently this can be a problem if you visit a park earlier in the day using your park passes and then check into your hotel later in the day and then try transferring the passes over to your room key.
