Question about park hours

Please bear with me if this has been asked.....

I was looking at the park hours for October

For the EMH-morning on the chart, do the parks open at the time stated, or 1 hour before the time stated?

For example, on Monday's it has Epcot as open from 9-7....do resort guests get in at 8 (from 8-9), or at 9 (from 9-10)?

The parks open one hour before the stated time. So if it is scheduled to open at 9am, Extra Magic Hour would be 8am. Same for Extra Magic Evening; the posted time is regular closing, and EMH is 3 hours after that.

Thanks Cleo! I'm planning my ADRs for early Dec, and doing my best to figure out what day we'll be at each park (I love the morning EMH -- never done the evening). This really does require some sort of advanced degree -- I'm thinking...."we can go to Epcot for the morning EMH - but need to do MK on our first day there....and we want to try Whispering Canyon at WL....so we'll start at Epcot, take bus to WL for a late lunch, then the boat from WL over to MK.....but wait! Is that a MVMCP night and they'll be closing early...."

I'm going a bit batty!
