Question about Park Hopper plus tickets

We have the Park Hoppers plus the water park tickets. We will be checking into our hotel on a Sunday afternoon and going to the parks from Mon-Thursday. So we will have extra time to do something on Sunday. This may be a dumb question, but can we use on of our days at the water park on Sunday if we haven't used any of our park hopper yet?

Yes, you can use one of the water park days at any time you want. All that matters is that all days expire 14 days after the first use of the tickets, unless you have the non expire option. The order that you use the days on the ticket does not matter.
