Question about Parades?

After reading that thread about rude people at the parades, I don't know if I want to even try to watch them now.

How are the crowds at the parades during December. Are they all mobbed with alot of people?

The parades are really wonderful and if you can fit them in, they shouldn't be missed. No matter how quiet the parks are, they seem to "fill in" for the parades anyhow. I wouldn't let 1 thread sway me from seeing them. I mean we have all encountered rude people be it at the grocery store, airport, gas station, or WDW. Doesn't stop anyone from going back though. I wouldn't worry about it-- and have a GREAT time!

it is a madhouse and the December ones are just as bad. Yes some of the people are extremely rude, but I wouldn't allow that to stop you from seeing them. The MK one's are the best IMHO. However, the AK parade is wonderful too. The only one I'm not keen on is the MGM Stars and Motor cars, however, none of them are to be missed. Make sure you stake out your spot early

Thanks I guess I just want to be perpared, I really don't want to find a spot and hour early. I reather be doing something than just sitting around doing nothing. To me it's a waste of time!!

I'm the guilty party that started that rude parade thread!

Sorry if i'd made you not want to see the parades. Even though we had that one incident we loved the parades!! They were one of the best things about our trip!

We also thought it seemed like a waste of time to wait 45 minutes or more but by the time its time to wait we were all ready to sit and relax for a while! not one of my kids complained about waiting and they are 10, 8 and almost 3. The time goes by fast too!

Its funny for the Spectromagic parade at night my son wanted to squeeze one more ride in cause it was our last night in Mk so when we tried to find a spot we had to stand in back of some people and they were looking at us like we were the ones who were going to shove our way in!
