I'm taking my family (DW,DD11,DD10,and DS3) to Disney Dec. 9-13. We're planning MGM on the 11th. I would really like for them to see the Osborne lights AND Fantasmic, but the park is set to close at 7 P.M. that night. What time will Fantasmic start? Will it be possible to see both? :confused3

Hi and welcome to the DIS!!

Here's a link to the specific operating schedule for MGM on Dec 11th. According to the WDW operating hours schedule, the park hours are 9-7pm, the Osbourne Lights are 6-7pm (technically until close I believe), and Fantasmic is at 7pm. Obviously Fantasmic appears to be starting when the park closes, however MGM has extra magic hours that night and will really be open until 10pm if you're staying on property (off property guests will have to leave at 7pm).

Hope that wasn't too confusing! Also, be sure to check on the hours frequently. They've been changing around the park hours a little here and there.

I will be going to MGM December 12th and was kind of wondering the same thing....I know the Osborne hours are 6-7 and then Fantasmic starts at 7pm. Do you think it will be an option to see both in one night?? We only have one night for MGM and would LOVE to be able to see both, anyone have any experience in doing this last year??

Thanks so much for the welcome and the info. My family is staying off property, which means Fantasmic won't be available to us, I guess? :sad2:
