Question about onboard airline check in and baggage fee

Hello everyone. We are sailing in June on the Dream and flying on Delta. We have a credit card that allows us 1 free checked bag per person in our party. If we do onboard check in for our return flight, I've read that Disney bills your onboard account for the checked bag fee. Does anyone have any experience with this and how to allow for the free checked bag via the credit card?

Ok went to guest services the last night of my cruise and showed them my American Airlines card and they removed the charge immediately for me. They do it all the time and are really good about it.

Same with our Alaska Mileage Card, wasn't a problem
