Question about old no expiration tickets (from 2005)

My DH and I went to Disney together for the first time in February 2005. We purchased no expiration ticket - 7 day park hopper with 5 MPP visits(I think that was magic plus plus back then). We used 3 park days, and 1 MPP option at Pleasure Island before it closed. At one point there was a phone number that I'm pretty sure I found here and called to find out what was left. Apparently one of the tickets wasn't scanned at Pleasure Island and still has all 5 MPP visits left on it.

I can't seem to locate the number to call, and my DH is concerned that we might not be able to use them since it has been so long. I have tried to reassure him that since I called at one point to confirm days left and they are no expiration so they are still good. Is there any way that I can verify that they are still usable (I know they will have to be converted to current tickets) before we get to the gate?

We have been to Disney twice since then, but our first trip with our children was in 2009 and we used the military tickets (great deal and that year the service member was free!). We also went in 2010 but stayed onsite and did the free dining promo so bought tickets to get the package deal. We are planning a trip for September, which will be the first trip for our youngest who will be almost 3. We thought that we might go on a quick weekend getaway and use a couple of days to see what has changed since our last visit (it seems like a LOT has changed in 4 years!).

Since the tickets were non-expiring, it doesn't matter if its been so long since you last used them. Any remaining park days and fun visits are still valid.

It does help to keep track of what you used off of the ticket yourself since Disney's computers are not foolproof.

Currently Disney's policy is to not give out information on days remaining over the phone.

. . . . and, when you update these tickets to the new RFID format, they will magically be brought into line with the current ticket structure, which gives seven plus options with a seven day ticket.

So however many water park days you had, you'll now have two more than that.

really? I also have 2005 10 day MYW nonexpire with 5 WP&M. We have 1-2 days of parks left and 1 day of WP&M left--or maybe no days of WP&M left. Are you saying that we will then get extra WP&M days to make it as if we had bought 10 days WP&M? How would I go about updating/changing them? That would be super great!

My parents have tickets from 1997 in the house they're gonna try to use someday. Gonna be interesting to see how that goes down when they try it.
