Question about OKW room requests

We are staying at OKW for a week this summer, meeting up with my brother's family. When I booked the rooms I requested first floor since my brother and his wife will bring a stroller and not all buildings in OKW have an elevator.

Now my husband has said he does not want first floor but would rather have a second floor room since we have always done first floors.

Since both rooms are on the same reservation and we are getting in at different times, is it going to be confusing to have two requests (one first floor, one second floor, but in the same building and in HH area)?

We have 2 separate 1brdms reserved.

It will not be confusing but keep in mind you may not end up in the same building or even near each other. There are two different areas that are considered HH and those 2 areas are really not even close to each other. CM's do try to put people together if possible, but it all depends on availabilty, and that depends on the season, room type, and day of the week you are arriving.

We once booked a 2 bdrm and 2 studios. There was only one building that would accommodate us and we weren't thrilled with the area but took it so we could be together. Ended up loving it.


Now if they can put you together, it will not be a problem if you are on separate floors. CM's understand things like that.

If you already have the HH designation, I'd just call back and request ground floor and upper floor for the two villas and that the villas be "near" each other. The resort does try hard to honor group requests like that (but will not guarantee it). Most likely you will be in the same building.
