Question about October visit

My family and I will be going to Universal on October 3 and 4 of this year, which is on a Sunday and Monday. Both are days that the Halloween Horror Nights will be going on in the evening. My question is---has anyone gone in the past when the HHN was going on? I am curious if they will have rides and attractions closed down during the day, in preparation for the activities at night? I have already purchased my tickets, and the thought did not occur to me until after the fact. I am hoping we will not miss out on anything during the day due to this. Anyone know if this is a possibility?

HHN does not affect the Studios during the day...all attractions are open. You wouldn't even know HHN is going on if it weren't for some of the larger props setting around the park.

And actually - HHN is not on the Monday evening when you are there - only the Sunday evening .... so basically what that means is Universal Studios will close at 5:00 pm on Sunday vs 6:00 pm on Monday. As Metro said, you wouldn't even know HHN was going on if it weren't for some of the larger props around the park.
