Question about non-expiring tickets...

Question...say I have a 10 day non-expiring ticket and I use 3 days while at WDW. If I come back in a year when I still have 7 days left on the pass, can I at that point, upgrade it to a hopper?

No. Any modifications have to be done within 14 days of first usage, or before usage. Applies to non-expiring tickets too.
