I made my dining reservations this morning. As of right now my brother and I are 100% going. My sister is 50/50. She is currently looking for a full time job and if she finds one, she may not have the vacation time to join us. I made my dining reservations for 3 people. If my sister doesn't go, will I be charged the no show fee for her?

If she changes her plans ahead of time, you could call and downsize your table to two. If you get a CM who says they can't do that without canceling and rebooking, politely hang up and call back to speak with someone else.

But Disney's policy is to not charge for partial parties (unless it's one of the prepaid restaurants).

Only Select restaurants will charge if you don't give the necessary notice; as PP stated, i believe it's the ones that require you to prepay for the meal, or have the credit card on file for the reservation.

It's only the prepaid ones that will charge for a partial party. The ones just with the credit card guarantee will NOT charge if there is someone missing from your party.

Thank you for the clarification of my statement. I've never been in the situation before, I was going on what i read before...so i appreciate this clarification :thumbsup2

Thanks everyone! The only ones I had to put in a credit card for were O'hana and Garden Grill, so I should be OK :)

As a note, keep track of your statement around the time you dine if she doesn't show and you don't downsize. While the policy is not to charge if some of your party shows up, there have been reports of them doing just that.

In fact, it's probably a good idea to keep track of all that stuff even if she does show up, as there are some that have been charged the fee for the whole party, while they were sitting in the restaurant.

Disney itself has written information on its own website stating that a partial party will not be charged on a restaurant with a credit card hold.
