Question about new Disney Credit Card

I was on the Disney Store web site and noticed that you can apply online for a Disney Credit Card through Monogram Bank of Georgia. Is this the new Visa that everyone has been talking about? I thought that wasn't happening until January 2003. The site talks about resort discounts, special offers, etc.

Does anyone know? Has anyone gotten the Monogram Bank Card? I would apply for this one but I don't need another come January.

Not the same.This card has been around for years.The new one will be a Bank One/Disney Visa card.Look for it January 03'.

do you earn points that you may then apply toward Disney dollars, or toward the purchase of park passes? Is so, this would be great! In which case, I would definitely apply.

There is no official word on how it will work, except for the official Bank one announcement:

Points and Special values. There is no official tie in to the DC/MKC card.
