Question about my tickets

I just got my tickets in the mail. I got an AP and I also got 4 3 month passes (this was the costco deal). On the back of the passes it says "must register biometrics" What is that? Doesn't it sound creepy? I thought maybe it was the finger scan?

a biometric scan is the finger scanner, but UO doesn't use them. must be an old clause.

Some APs do have the fingerscan. Most are the 13 month flex-pay AP. I don't remember if the Cosco is a fingescan or not though. Also several multi-day tickets require a fingerscan.

crap, I forgot they retrofitted the turnstiles with that little scanpoint. it's just like the ones you use to get the lockers. I'm just used to handing my AP to the TM.
