Question About Multiple Fort Wilderness Reservations

My family reserved a cabin at Fort Wilderness. We have another family that may be going with us. We might make this a "Magical Gatherings Trip." Is it possible to call WDW and let them know that I have an existing ressie and like to request that the other family's reservation be for a cabin next to ours?

Yes, When I was a Disney bride, they made sure all of our guests were in rooms right next to one another.

It is the biggest and best party going to Disney with your family and friends!

I would also call the Ft. a few days prior to arrival and confirm that they are aware of your group requests.

As has been stated you do want to let Disney know ahead of time.

Make sure you have the reservation number for everyone in the group so that the reservations can be linked together.

Instead of calling, you should fax 4 days before hand to the attention of the room assigner. If you call you will end up talking to one of the folks at the front counter: at best they will write a note to the assigner, at worst do nothing.

Figure your 4 days prior to arrival this way:

Thursday - Arrival day/check-in
Wednesday - 1 day prior
Tuesday - 2 days prior
Monday - 3 days prior
Sunday - 4 days prior
