question about Mousekeeping...

From what I'm reading here it sounds like they don't make beds or refresh towels everyday? Is this something you have to request? Seems unusual as hotels we've stayed at always 'clean & straighten' everyday.

Mousekeeping has always made the beds (not with new sheets though) and have always given us new towels, cups, soap, shampoo every single day.

We've always had the beds made and received new supplies each day. Some places give you the option of reusing your towels or getting new ones...but we've always had the choice. We did run into a problem of not having them come by to clean our room until mid-afternoon, after we had already returned and had the kids down for a nap. It was too late by the time the kids were awake. So, mousekeeping had to leave our towels in a bag on our door.

You do get your rooms done everyday at Disney Resorts. Only DVC members staying at a DVC resort on points do not get the daily service.

when were at POFQ this past FEB< our ROOMS were cleaned daily and RESTOCKED ( sheets were not changed as we were only there 4 days, BUT room was TOTALLY picked up restocked daily...)

Our mousekeepers in 2002 were VERY thorough! We were on our honeymoon but got "stuck" in a room with 2 queens instead of 1 king bed. We used one bed for sleeping and kept our luggage on the other bed. Every day, when we returned, our luggage was closed up (neatly) and put away in the corner. I shouldn't complain because it was so sweet, but it was frustrating having to put everything back onto the bed. It wasn't like they even had to make it since it wasn't in use. Other than that, we had the obligatory towel character... a cute little bride , and all of our towels and toiletries were refreshed daily.

the last time we stayed at CBR, they never left things like soap and shampoo. They weren't in our room when we checked in. It was no big deal because we always bring our own, but I thought it was a little odd.

We would get fresh towels and the beds would be made, but there were never things like soap and shampoo left.

When we stayed at POP, we got shampoo and soap everyday along with fresh towels and the beds made.
