Question about MNSSHP

We are planning to attend the MNSSHP in October. We already have our tickets but have heard that they will let guests with the special event tickets in earlier than the start of the event to alleviate the crowds at the gate. Is this true and if so does anyone know what time they do this? We have single day park tickets, but we're planning on spending our day at another park and then going to MK for the event only.

We have been quite a few times (daughter works for the mouse). We always get there around 4:00 pm and get right in. The rides are pretty much walk on compared to regular wait times. We consider our time at this event also our day to visit Magic Kingdom for we manage to get every ride in when we are there. Around 7:00 CM's weed out people who do not have a wrist band (indication you have paid for MNSSHP).
